West Ham have confirmed the signing of Pablo Zabaleta on a free transfer following his release from Manchester City. The right-back has put pen to paper on a two-year contract, believed to be worth about £90,000 a week. It makes Zabaleta, 32, the first major summer signing of Slaven Bilic. Zabaleta's arrival will push Sam Byram down the pecking order while forgotten man Alvaro Arbeloa is set to leave the club.
